I'm looking for a text entitled simply Riemann Geometry but am having a difficult time finding one. My searches  keep up Riemann-Finsler Geometry.

Can someone please help me find a text entitled Riemann Geometry. I saw it on Amazon once and always wanted to get it. Thank you.

Yep that's the 2nd book down on the link I posted last week on Riemann Geometry.

Like you I like having a hardcopy, easier to read in bed!

I notice an also purchased is Isaac Chavel's excellent book. You need some differential geometry, but not much. https://www.amazon.com/Riemannian-Geometry-Introduction-Cambridge-Mathematics/dp/0521619548/ref=sr_1_13/144-3701957-2912858?ie=UTF8&qid=1539082882&sr=8-13&keywords=riemannian+geometry

He's not in my ignore list. If he's the one who gave me a hard time about whether time travel has not been proven impossible then I'll put him there. That person irritated me to no end with his invalid claims.

Nope that was not me, and it isn't a thread I have looked at as far as I recall. Time I believe to be emergent and arises like all things out of quantum mechanics. Of course I could be wrong, but when I have suggested it no one has not been contested me.

What I was initially annoying everyone with was Emergent Gravity by Eric Verlinde, and the none existence of dark matter which might have got me on your ignore list. I have found a couple of threads on this forum whereby people have raised the subject for discussion and then been completely ignored.

Most likely no one has the time to get involved in a long, and often pointless, discussion.
It’s unusual to find anyone with sufficient knowledge of the subject they are raising/quoting for a worthwhile discussion, experience is that they often get bogged down in misunderstandings and misinterpretation of the topic, or someone’s pet hobbyhorse, so most people just don’t start to engage. Certainly it doesn’t mean the OP is right.

No worries google is quite useful. I have come to a basic conclusion, my wife is right my name should have been always right . Unless I am mistaken, I am not barking mad, and am barking up the right tree ref gravity and what space time dimensions are made up of. Silence to my questions just made me read more to get to the answers. The paper I posted explaining dark matter was only six pages long, and wasnt to hard too understand, I guessed you never read it as there was no comment. Hey Ho not everyone is so curious and after all the waffle curiosity killed the cat:)

I did read it, but my online time is limited. At the moment I’m writing 2 articles, a lecture and preparing for a workshop so I’m up to my ears in editorial, photos, diagrams and publisher’s deadlines. I give priority to sorting out spam/admin and cherrypick my posts for topics likely to impact the educational side of the site and aimed more at the listeners.
