Hi Neilep, this is a very old thread and I have just read the last page of posts- I have no intention of reading through the whole lot. That said, I have a suggestion that in all probability has previously been mentioned but I will try anyway. Have you ever tried counting sheep to address your insomnia problem?

You surely must have some deep thoughts on it.
If you don't mind Sharing, I'd like to hear your Views/Opinions.

Good question. From a purely subjective point of view I guess I see 'beauty' as a personal and emotional response influenced by individual experiences, preferences, and cultural backgrounds. I know that what I may deem beauty will be seen as ugly by someone else.

I know culturally, around the world there are things that are considered beautiful that would not be considered so elsewhere.

I know there are art pieces that I see as beautiful and others not.

What about you ?

If yes, then can the belief in getting better be achieved without taking a false treatment ?


or....if not...why do some people report that they ' feel' better but tests show no physical improvement ?

In about 500 million-1 billion years(please correct  if inaccurate)  the Sun will start to expand , by then though, would not the Sun have lost enough mass so that all the Planets would have migrated further out  ?




I dunno !.....I asked my cousin but she just ate her baby food and did a poo. I considered that answer but am not entirely convinced .

I'm Sheepy how are ewe ? Don't forget, the Earth is flat, men are women and my cat is a pineapple . Thank ewe.


I am probably completely missing the point here (as I do).....but how can we tell the Universe is 13.8B ? if all we can see is the observable  with no idea (or is there?) how big the unobservable is, then how can we determine with such relative assurance how old the Uni is ?


As a firm believer in empirical study I went asked Uni.......



Me literally asking how old Uni is just moments ago in this non-doctored, bona-fide, 1-1 scale photo.

How are ewe today ? I'm ok, going shopping later for some tetra-neons....what about ewe  ? any plans later ? want to meet up to discuss sheep and sheep related topics ? ( no digression here !!)



 
As a Sheepy I of course am NOT an accretion disc... I am in fact a cloud with legs ! just look up on any inclement day.....................there I am ! wave your arms when ewe do as I need the target practice !!




So, what's the oort cloud all about ? why's it so special that it has to be all cloudy and not accretiony ??


As a firm believer in empirical study, yesterday I went and visited "oorty"...we are BFFs now !!





Oorty and I becoming BFFs just yesterday as confirmed in this bona-fide non doctored 1-1 scale image


So, as ewe can see, Oorty is cloudy !!...why's that then ? why is Oorty NOT an accretion disc ?

As a sheepy I of course can run really fast, I literally just completed the London marathon..............2004 !


That's fast !!!

Light travels well fast that at it's top speed it does not perceive time.....weird eh ?   however, my kwescun is....




If you were to slow light down, would the photons then experience time ?
