Title: Please cheer up my cat?
Post by: Make it Lady on 13/05/2010 15:50:10
My moggy "Mossy" went to the vets today and had a man's operation (if you know what I mean?) He has come back looking very sorry for himself. He was so proud of his plums! Has anyone got any suggestions of things that might cheer him up. Songs, poems, toys etc.
He is also going to be a Daddy in a weeks time and has the added responsibility of parenthood.

Get one of those little radio controlled cars and sew it into a mouse suit.

Buy him a sports car and some bling, you know, to compensate ;)

Seems to work well for most males.........

I've just thought of a better name than Neuticles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuticles) for fake plums ... "Faux (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faux)nads" (rhymes with gonads).  [:)]

That cat on the youtube looks just like Mossy. I will show him the clip and see if it cheers him up.
He has been a lot more chirpy today. He is not doing much in the way of big leeps but he is acting like a big kitten.
The vet told me he is not allowed to lick his balls. I told the vet that if he tried to lick my cats nads I'd report him to the police.

Don't try to distract it with a wig, evidently (from the extended claws) they don't like them ...

Mossy is a lot more cheery now, thanks. Mia is also relieved that she is not being jumped on all the time.
