Title: Were dinosaurs skinnier than we thought?

It looks as though they may have been.  If this is so, it's going to mean that a lot of stuff that's been extrapolated from what we thought we knew, ranging from food requirements to speeds, will need to be re-done.

I'm not sure if this surprises me or not.

But I am surprised to learn that an elephant is a reptile!!!!!

Can we really compare reptile to mammal, why not do a comparison to a modern crocodile, wouldn't that be better.

On the other hand, to look at the reptiles of today, they are not heavy by comparison to their bone structure.
