Title: How does the Earth lose energy in global cooling?
Post by: thedoc on 29/04/2012 11:34:01
Melanie Coull asked the Naked Scientists:

Hi Chris

I have a question for you and your team, I understand that there is a connection between global warming and cooling (ice ages) and I was wondering what the mechanism is that causes global cooling to be followed by warming, how does the Earth cool again after the ice caps melt and the glaciers receed? And is there anyway this knowledge can be of assistance in our attempts to tackle the problems we face today?

I love the show (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/HTML/podcasts/), thanks to you all

Kind regards
Melanie Coull
