ROLL TIDE

Strewth! For Texas that's pretty damn cold. Parts of Scotland dropped to -23.2 C, just about 0.2 C warmer than antartica today.
I get the feeling we could be in for scorching summer here in the UK, as for you JimBob, best make darn sure that air conditioning is in tip-top form.

ROLL TIDE
You WILL pay for that - believe - BELIEVE that you will. Somewhere, some place, some time ......

The brass monkeys have not been happy.
-
They were even less happy last night and tonight there will probably be a mass extinction.
"Rare numbers on the low temp map Saturday morning as there were a mix of teens and single digits in Central TX. This included record lows at the 3 official reporting stations:
17 Mabry (19 in 1962) - in the heat island of the city
10 ABIA (20 in 1976) - at Austin's Airport
8 Waco (15 in 1913) - 100 mile north
It is expected to be even colder tonight.
My arthritis is in total revolt!

And here in Sweden we have what we like to think of as a 'tropical climate'.
Cozy...
Anyone for a daiquiri?
Wait, I'll just go to the lemon-bush.
-
I know. Sweden is so warm I can see why you insist on living there. It is surely acclimatization - what you were born to is what you know.
Oh, and make mine a margarita. The lime tree is to the left..
-
Scientists in Idaho have successfully hybridized lemon trees and Western Larch. We've got lemons growing all over the place. I'm sure they have them in Sweden too.
-
My smile might become slightly sour thinking of that, but yeah, we have them. We had some problems with making the margarita salt mines grow though? It seems that they aren't really vegetables?
But we're still trying.
-
Tubers - that's it - they are tubers, salt tubers.
-
The only thing they mine around here is treacle.
-
Ah yes, as my old teacher used to say.
"A good cane helps the medicine go down, the medicine go down, the medicine go down.."
Sorry, meandering :)
-
The what?
"Most Inventive of Today's Hybrid Prize (the MITH prize) for 2009."
Pheew!
That's nothing.
Outmarches are old stuff in Sweden, hell we even have invented self-propelling potatoes.
You just need to whistle and they come jumping right down the stew.
And furthermore, they tell you when they're done too.
That's what I call service..
-
Potatoes? I thought you only had Swedes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rutabaga).

Ps: I actually heard that one at the Roskilde rock festival.
"And when the revolution comes we will all have our own bicycle"
Made me feel all warm, and cozy.

Don't know what it is, but sometimes my mind insert those small 'glues' like 'me' in the sentence above and I never notice they're missing? Even as I reread it..
