Title: Do all birds hop?

Of all the different bird species in the world what percentage hop vs those that walk

Can anybody help?

I can think of a few birds that don't hop.
To get you started Ostriches don't hop, they walk and run normally, ive never seen one hop. When watching hens walk or run they don't hop. The kiwi bird doesn't hop, as far as I am aware. Many wader birds don't hop. Flamingos for instance.

The percentage of which birds might hop and which don't, I have no idea. Some do, some don't, and some might  ;D

(Off the top of my head) I think that birds that primarily live in the trees/bushes (parrots, sparrows, blackbirds etc.) hop, and those that live on the ground (ostriches, emus, turkeys, etc.) or in the water (ducks, geese, seagulls, etc.) do not.
