I agree with John Steinbeck. The grapes of wrath was amazing, and of mice and men was just a good read. I read some Henry James a while back, very good. I've not read anything worthy in a while I'm afraid. my favourite authors for in-the-bath reads are Kathy Reichs, James Patterson and Ian Rankin. for science, it'll be the standard Richard Dawkins, but I've also got 'mutants' by Armand Marie Leroi on the go. I like travel writing when I'm in the mood, read some of Bill Bryson, and Tony Hawkes. light, amusing but interesting.any recommendations for authors I might like based on the above?
