Title: Will this rotating chair be useful?
Post by: Yahya A.Sharif on 22/09/2019 09:09:24
I don't need to present a sketch , the idea is simple:
A chair which rotates slowly enough to pleasure people who are sitting to drink coffee , eating breakfast , or chatting
The purpose of this slow rotation is to get pleasure of changing the direction  of sight in open places , also to reduce boredom of sitting in one position.
I think the idea is great.
What do you think as you  who might use it ?

You could put one here and set it up so the view stays the same.

The problem with a single chair rotating is that it only works if you are on your own.
If you are in a group, you end up turning your back on people.

It would be convenient if you was sitting in your garden on a balmy summers night observing the heavens with your binoculars the rotation rate would of course have to be siderial

I can't speak for anyone else, but I haven't ever been sitting at a meal and thought, "I wish I was spinning right now".

The invention will be for a single person.

Why do you want to eat and vomit while you can do a big list of other things.

I never said such a thing.

May I ask what planet you are on?

I can speak for everyone (here).
Whenever I have been sitting at a meal, I have been spinning.

How would the chair be powered?  Solar power, perhaps?  A battery?

I never said such a thing.
I didn't say why do you SAY you want......
I said why DO you want......
When first person  says to another person: Why do you want to run ?  and the other person replies I didn't say I want to run
That doesn't mean that first person judge him that he said so ,  he  judge him by something like he is afraid..
Whether you don't understand English or you just  used  it as defense from what I said and you imply I attacked you.
I said what I said  because you implied such a thing.

And you know what the OP meant.

And you know what the OP meant.

In what way was I misrepresenting the OP? As best as I can tell, he literally means a spinning chair.
