Springwatch is now being filmed at the Pitsea landfill site near Basildon. As Springwatch is considered as holy to its followers it would be totally wrong to take the P out of it. Apparently not…………….http://www.essexherald.com/bbcspringwatch.htm (http://www.essexherald.com/bbcspringwatch.htm) It made me laugh. [;D] [;D] [;D]

Bill Oddie, (scientific name Panurus biarmicus (http://www.birdsofbritain.co.uk/bird-guide/bearded-tit.asp)), used to present that program (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/2054179/Bill-Oddie-sparks-complaints-over-smutty-Springwatch-comments.html).

OK I admit it I stole that 'Panurus biarmicus' joke ...
Rory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rory_mcgrath) [McGrath]: Well, it's funny you should say Bill Oddie. Because Bill Oddie and I decided to do a bird-watching programme in which Bill plays the expert and I play the, sort of, keen, ignorant person... and I was going to call the programme 'Panurus biarmicus', which is the latin name for bearded tits.

We had the BBC come and film at the Broadlands Community Orchard in Bath for Autumn watch. They were filming one of our apple pressing days. I was invited to spend lunch with them and to this day I have no idea why I refused, some sense of ridiculous chivalry! Dam she was hot too! [B)]
