I've got it set to record... I suspect this will be a last outing for them though. I just hope they can do my fond memories justice.
-
This is the 2nd mention on here.... just shows how popular the show is!!
I've got it all set to record, and all the phones will be off and a sign on my front door saying 'Feck off' [;D] [;D] [;D]

Just from looking at that picture....
How can you people watch that stuff?
-
Chemistry4me, either you have never seen it or you have no sense of humour :-)

If Carlsberg made a scifi comedy, it probably wouldn’t come close to this!
Red Dwarf is like an alien entity in the body that affects the mind rendering it impervious to outside influence during the episodal infections.
Common symptoms are tears falling from cheeks; spontaneous outbursts of infective laughter, painful side splitting ribs and recurring repeat episodes that are a delight to the well-being of those who have become subjected to this hilarious yet somehow believable adventure.
Recycled urine helps swill down a fiery vindaloo curry, heaven knows where the ingredients for it came from.
How can anyone not like Red Dwarf?

And a welcome breath of fresh air for the initiated.

Though I must admit, the last series lost something for me...

Same here. It was funny but lost the edge of the previous series, particulalry 1, 2 and 3.
But if its RD I still love it regardless!!
-
And I can't see it live here in Germany!!!!! ******WHINE*****
-
Its on tonight! I can't wait. The question is will Rimmer need a zimmer!?
-
30 mins to go..... im like a kid waitng for Xmas!!!
Ive already got the DVD on pre-order... its out 15/06.
-
We are recording it onto DVD ssssshhh!
I'm more excited about Doctor who, although I do think the knackered bus might upset those people involved in the London bus bomb. It is very remeniscent of 7/7. I realise they couldn't help it as some dockers dropped a cargo container on the bus so they had to change the script to explain the damage but still someone should have said, "hold on that might upset people." Anyway, I still can't wait and like the girlie that will be assisting him. It is so much more fun when you are bi-. I'm already having naughty thoughts about Tennant and Ryan together!

Well, I enjoyed it; hope you did too.

Yep me too!!! Did anyone spot the photo of Mel Bibby next to Kochanski's on the memorial? I thought that was a nice touch.

Pants and a@se, I forgot if was tonight, was out. Will scour the listings for the repeat, unless anyone knows and can put me out of my misery?

Ermmm... it was alright.
-
It was OK, but I had a bigger laugh watching the repeat episode from series VI - the 4 horseman/gunslingers of the apocalypse one (don't remember the title) - that was shown right after.

I didnt like the CGI much, I dont usually mind CGI but the skutter didnt look right without the usual clunkiness, and the lack of laughter track made it feel odd.
I also feel it should have been kept as a 90 min film rather than a 3-parter, it would have made much more sense that way.
Hopefully parts 2 and 3 willl be better.
I still loved it... its RD after all!
Gunman of the Apocolypse is one of the best ones, and won numerous awards. What irritates the hell out of me is that Dave kept 'shaving' bits off it here and there so it fits int he time slot and to make room for ads... grrrr!!! There were some class lines and jokes lost because of that.

The whole thing will be repeated on monday I think, 1 2 and 3 with a behind the scenes commentary.
-
Thanks, I've just set the entire monday night to be recorded!! Will watch at the same time of course. Now, do I watch episodes 2 and 3 first, or wait and get them in order? decisions ...
Just saw that Robert Llewellyn and Craig Charles will be in Norwich on saturday for a signing!! So, that's where I'll be then! Will earn myself brownie points with a good birthday pressie for my brother.
-
Yep tonight was good..... Me like it lots!!!!!!! [;D] [;D]
-
I'm going to watch them all on monday night. So don't give anything away!!!!
-
I thought it was a bit weird looking at all the wrinkled faces. It didn't seem to have the same chemistry as before. I have only seen part one yet so might revise my comments. Doctor Who was golly good though. So much totty!
-
I agree, I've watched the first two now, and I'm not that impressed. They seem a bit rusty and wooden, and to have lost some of their character over the years. The story-line was a bit lame too. Hope the third episode is better.
