Hi guys

I know that you can use dexpan to create crack in stones and concrete. Like non explosive demolition.

My question is what chemicals can create cracks in stones or concrete? I heard that calcium salt can create cracks in concrete but I don't know which calcium salt

Can somebody know any household or lab chemicals that can crack stones and concrete

g]This is a steel piece with 3 inch length. So after I drill the holes so steel pieces like this if you insert in the hole it stick and fit perfectly

Hi

I have a plastic ingot that is 3 inch deep and I want to drill holes that will have 3 inch length. But the holes I want them to be 10mm top and 8mm bottom. I hope you have understood that. What kinds of drill bits should I use?

I know I can't use a straight drill bit that has uniform size from top to bottom like a cigarette. My english is not good but I hapoe you have understood

Heating anything in a completely sealed container is a bad idea  unless you take suitable precautions.

Why do you want to heat  plastic?
Many plastics can be melted in an open container.

I want to meIt ABS and HD PE but when I do it in an uncovered container the PIastics EVAPORATES. I want to ment and POUR in mouIds to create other things.

Hi. I am thinking of  meIting Plastic in a tight      container such as a tin can or any other container  with a tight lid . Putting PIastic   stuff in and  cIose it  and then sit it in a hot fire. When the Plastic inside is meIting the inside Pressure   can sc  cause the container to burst or exIode?? I am doing  this way because if I meIt the it with an container  with no Iid    the  stuff evaorate in air. Whats you think guyz

Hi peips.How to keep molten plastic  in liquid state foor  long. After melting plastic in a crucible and want ti pour it in a wooden mold i want it ti cool withoiut solidifying in the crucible before pouring in the mold. So hoe how or what to mix in si the molten plastic can stay liquid even if it starts ti cool?

Thanks guys for the suggestions.

I was searching through youtube and found a guy dissolving coke bottle with sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide mixuture nad dissolve the coke bottle. But the coke bottle dissapear onbthe solution. Ibdont know how Ibcan recover the dissolved plastic.

Anyway, i will keep on searching for acetone and xylene I think those will be safer and bettr methods

I did the experiments dissolving the types of plastics other members mentioned above but failed. I checked the chart mentioned by Bored chemist and I tried  using Lye to dissolve but also failed.

Other than acetone, what other solvents can dissolve plastic to like viscouus liquid that you can pour and mold new things because where I live I dont have acces to pure acetone which seems to work as I have seen in youtube people doing so. What other solvents or tricks i can use to dissolve plastic other than heat? I will appreciate the h3ĺp

What kinds or types of plastics  that a nail polish remover with these ingredients can dissolve? Or melt, but i dont think is melting ratherdisolvcing.. these are the ingredients of the remover, acetone, ethyl acetate, glycerin.  Thanks

Hi guyz. As the heading explains itself I want to make sodium silicate water glass that colorless or brownish liquid from normal ordinary sand but I cant find any good video online. Many videos use silica gel. Does anybody has an idea how to make water glass from sand at home?

Hi guys.

If you make synthetic corundum crystals with an electric arc welder and make synthetic rubies as shown in the image below, what will be its uses in industrial? who or what kind of people will buy them? I mean what industries  will want them?
