I freaking hate these things for one. Why the heck do they have to be there? They just really piss me off. and two um how come I didn't dream the last time I had one? Well a dream I could remember. How come?

Yes, it does. It seems your body has its own way of masturbation even if you're not going to do it conciously yourself! If you have sex or masturbate more often, you will have less or no wet dreams. And as for not remembering the dream last time it happened, this is unfortunate for you as these are usually the most pleasant dreams to remember :P But in fact you actually cannot remember most of the dreams you have, i remember hearing that on average you have about 17 dreams per night, even if you think you've had none, but you cannot remember them.

Don't know exactly why, maybe its to do with just making sure everything runs ok down there :P running the engine now and then to keep it running smoothly if you're not using it :P
There was some findings a few years ago that masturbation could reduce the risk of prostate cancer in men, as it prevents the buildup of potentially carcinogenic chemicals.
By the way its much more common in teenage years if that's around how old you are

you body is continuously producing new sperm. it obviously can't all stay down there. has to go somewhere. aslo, as pointed out, flushing the pipes from time to time is good for your prostate.

no, more likely you would have unused sperm cells breaking down inside your body. This may release some cellular toxins, which wouldn't be good to have around in an area of your body that has so much actice cell division going on.

And no you wont go blind, get warts or stunt your growth. Where did these myths come from? I used to teach sex education and the number of parents that used to insist that their child should not be told that masturbation was OK, was unbelievable. I still think sex ed. in British schools is woefully poor.

Many men with spinal cord injuries do not/ can not ejaculate on a regular basis, or even at all fro some, and there is no increased incidence of prostate cancer among this group... I wonder why.

My husband had a vasectomy 19 years ago. We were educated for a couple hour long sessions with the doctor who explained the procedure. He said he would make a couple of incisions and clip the tube ends.. when we asked why just clip and tie? Where does the sperm go then? He said he still produces sperm but the ones that count are absorbed into the body which is perfectly safe! They just are no longer potent... I do not undertand it.. but reabsorbing it into he body we were told is quite safe... has that changed over the last 19 years?

Yeah, i'd say the reduced risk of cancer from masturbating is probably not that great, was probably just a popular story because it gives us men an excuse :P "I'm not doing it cause I like it, its for health reasons!" :P

In a sense its a way to stop you peeing the bed unintentionally while asleep and has little to do with sex. You wake with an erection and the first thing you have to do is go for a pee!

that would only be a valid theory if men wake with erections every day.. AFAIK this is not the case.. although urinations is imminent shortly after waking.
Having said that I understand that the 'morning glory' as we call it, has very little to do with sexual function and more to do with sphincter contraction.

It's perfectly possible but it tends to be messy.
Perhaps more importantly, if this were the reason for men not wetting the bed you would need to find the reason for the other half of the species not doing so.
Also, while there's probably a correleation between impotence and enuresis, one doesn't always imply the other.

I from experience with my three kids can say that infant at even a year and 1/2 to 5 do this.. it is normal according to my childrens Pediatrcian, and between diapering and bathing and there own self exploration.. that they find it on there own..
