« on: 24/05/2008 23:08:51 »
Does anyone know of some websites that show a person how to built a bridge out of straws, string and popsicle sticks? This is for a science project.
Thank you. [???]

What about a wave-machine made from kebab skewers and jellybabies ?, (more dynamic than a bridge)...

(A longer version than the one in the video would be more impressive)

There are plenty of articles on building model bridges from drinking straws, e.g.

If you make a model of "Galloping Gertie" it will be a bridge and a wave-machine  [:)] ...

ermmmm, whatever happened to just sitting down and trying for yourself? It's not that hard, you could then post a picture of your efforts and THEN ask a question as to where you may have gone wrong or how you may improve your design. Simply posting "here is my kids school homework, please can someone do it" is pretty.....

Now did i ask anyone here to built the darn thing for me? No, I asked if you knew of any websites so I could get some idea's. It may be the easiest thing in the world for some, but not all! I have to say some people here are not helpful & on the nasty side!

It's called research and did I say built this for me. If you don't want to help me find a site then why even post your mean spirited reply!
