Astrology in my opinon is a load of dogs doo dahs !!... (I would go into a lot more detail but my horoscope said I should be concise today)

...and yes... I suppose those people who do magazine and newspaper horoscopes get paid for running their ' lets create a random horoscope ' software on their computers.

I think he may be trying to say astronomer and not relaising the very significant difference in what he is saying.

The answer is that most astronomers are academics and don't get very well paid you need to be really good at maths and physics  and must get a very good degree to have a hope of getting anywhere so its not a career choice for the faint hearted.  There are a few universities with undergraduate courses in astronomy I believe.  When I took my degree around 40 years ago The only one was University College London  (Which I attended )  but even then I opted for a physics degree because it gave more options that an astronomy degree.

If you study astronomy you will have to learn a great deal more things than about black holes and do a lot of very boring work to because most astronomy is very fine detailed and statistical.

Its probably far easier to be come an astrologer because all you need is a few charts showing where the planets are, a few references of character types and star signs and a good line in bull****. but dont know if many suckers pay for the info  [:D]

Perhaps it's written in the stars that Tony is going to spend his life looking at them.
