For a 2010 HP desktop with a Windows 7 Pro OA sticker on it and X16, 96076, which Windows 7 should I download, Windows 7 full pro or windows 7 pro original?
Seeking to upgrade to Windows 10 later.

Is there no OS on there already?
If it had Win 7 professional, the best bet is to install Win 7 Pro again, using the machine spec and licence ID to get it. Then use the Win 10 upgrade tool.
Despite the deadline to upgrade passing years ago, the free Windows 10 upgrade path is still active; if you have Win 7 pro you will be upgraded to Win 10 pro; definitely worth having over the cheaper and cheerful version.

Both editions of Windows 7 feature automatic backups, with options to configure which files and folders get backed up and when the backups are scheduled. But with Windows 7 Home Premium, you can only back up to another drive or a DVD where as Windows 7 Professional allows you to back up over a network.

It is a matter of using the right version for the product key I own.
