Vertical sit ups or ones where you are on the ground and go up 45 degrees?
I've been doing the veritcal sit ups and man is it looking purdy good now [:)], but there are some other people that say what they do is better.
Is it different for different people?
Thanks Sim [:)]

i would imagine a mixture of both would be the best. each probably isolates a slightly different group of muscles.

Try adding some obliques as well. For that all round toned six pack.
(incidentally, it's an eight pack, but we rarely see the other two on most people.)

obligues?
and yeah after a 100ish veritcal sit ups i can fell an eight pack, but it quickly fades :(

Nevermind I found an article on msn actully that had obligues in it.
Side abs. And yeah when I do verical sit ups when i get up i move from side to side (like shaking) or i do sit ups normal, just going to one side then the other you know?
-
Well, I guess you vary as much as possible.. to get obliques lie on back and have the legs bent but leaning over to one side, then do a 'normal' sit up. (make sense?)
Or you can lie on your back as if to do a normal sit up and have your right hand reach around to your right ankle with abs 'switched on'.
I think you can do 1000 sit ups a day and not get ripped if you don't lose body fat as well.

Yeah I've done them before. What about having your legs up on the couch like Karen suggested before? and then going up and going to the sides?
Annd yes I know, but I'm like really skinny yet i'm 140 pound. People don't think i'm more then 115, but i'm 140. I think i've got like defiently less then 10 perfect body fat. Not sure but i'm purdy sure I am less then 10. I've alwasys wanted to figure it out though

as long as you turn on the correct muscles, it should do something. I think putting your legs up on something is a little counter productive.. if anything you have your legs in that position without anything underneath them.. that way you are forced to use your abs only...
