black dots on sclera, have no idea if normal
« on: 18/12/2005 16:48:12 »
hello,

i have these little black dots on the white part of my eye, it looks as though someone took a graphite pencil and made little dots. they also look to be where my contact lense lies on my eye.. i've never noticed them before (and they are quite noticable) so i figured they are new..
can anyone tell me what these are? or did i just naturally aquire spotty eyes?

thanks

it might be irritation in the eye from the lense. Go to your local pharmacy and ask them if its an infection of anysort. You can buy things for mild eye infections over the counter but if it persists then its the doctors.. I wouldnt risk it being in your eye and everything... How will you do science experiements if you cant see!
