Why HP printer offline Windows 10?
« on: 14/05/2021 16:09:38 »
You may come across an error message and you notice HP printer offline Windows 10. You may have to use troubleshooting techniques to identify the offline issue. However, this can be caused due to simple issues. The common problem is that your HP Printer must be switched off or in sleep mode. In such a situation, turn off the HP printer. Remove the plug and wait for a minute. Insert the printer plug into the socket. Your printer will start working. If it doesn’t then you may have to check for other conditions.

Your printer might appear offline if it can't communicate with your PC. ... Select Start > Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Then select your printer > Open queue. Under Printer, make sure Use Printer Offline is not selected.

Your printer might appear offline if it can't communicate with your PC. Here are some things to try to get your printer back online.

1. Check to make sure the printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC. Your printer's built-in menu should show which network it's connected to, or check your printer's manual for more info.
2. Verify that your printer is not in Use Printer Offline mode. Select Start  > Settings  > Devices > Printers & scanners. Then select your printer > Open queue. Under Printer, make sure Use Printer Offline is not selected.

These steps will put your printer back online.

If it doesn't follow these steps -
1. Update the device driver In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager. Select a category to see names of devices, then right-click (or press and hold) the one you’d like to update. Select Search automatically for updated driver software. Select Update Driver. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.
2. Reinstall the device driver In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager. Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall. Restart your PC. Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

These will help solve your problem. Hope you find this helpful.
Regards,
Jake Paul.

When you need to print some essential papers, the most unpleasant notification is ‘Printer says offline.' The printer is an important IT equipment for printing crucial papers. It operates in professional and personal configurations. The users are unable to view the 'Printer is offline' notice. There might be a number of causes for the printer being down. The user can utilise the  technique on his or her own or seek outside assistance.

Make sure your printer is on and connected to your PC.

Open Start  > Settings  > Devices > Printers & scanners. Select the name of the printer, and then choose Remove device.

To reinstall the printer, select  Add a printer or scanner and then select the name of the printer you want to add. If Windows doesn’t automatically find a new driver after the printer is added, look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their installation instructions.

There may be a problem with the driver. Find the driver auto-update in the settings, maybe this will help.

I have an excellent HP4 printer built 1995 but unfortionaly it has a SCSI interface and most modern mother boards do not allow you to fit a SCSI card.
I would dearly like to get a USB to SCSI cable but no one seems to make them any more.drivers are available with the warning that you may well ruin your computer if you use this driver !!!
