Cheating means to try to gain an advantage by unfair means. If I told you the way to pull a cracker to ensure getting the prize, that would give you an unfair advantage so it would still amount to cheating.

Dressing smart. Clean teeth (most important) Gorgeous smile, staying sober and letting the other lads get pissed and destroy their chances of pulling the Real Cracker. The gift is the love of my life. And it don't have to be Christmas either.

I've seen otherwise perfectly sane, rational people express delight when conptemplating the rubbishy trinket that fell into their pudding - once someone said "Oh, that will be very useful, I've got just the job for that". Dear God!
