well, I've been busy again, and the forum always seems to slip my memory in the face of all the business...
but I remembered its existence just now, if only for the purpose of asking this question...
I ran into a symbol, and I want to know if any of you recognise it, and where it might be from.
this is the image:

other than that... i'll probably be back for a while until my life gets over-busy again [;D]

The artist formerly known as talented.
-
hmm... no, I don't see much resemblance to the symbols... unless you're thinking of another one... link?
-
There's no resemblance whatsoever and whoever made that suggestion is very silly indeed.

ok, that's the symbol that I saw. I thought karen might have been referring to a different one, but I guess not

Looks like one of those tattoos some women have just above where their bums start. [:I]
They bend over and in among all the escaping underwear is one of these.
They call them Tramp Stamps around here.

NO it does not look like their symbols just being stylized reminded me of them having stylized symbols... *smiles*
Meaning maybe its a new band symbol or something such as that?
-
This reminds me of "Evil Eye" symbols I have seen on boats from the eastern Mediterranean and also from Sicily. Could this be what it is?
-
What about some crazy Egyptian symbol? They really liked their eyes.
-
Where did you come across it? It looks like a stylised eye on a red ribbon to me.
-
Jimbob and lady, could you show me a few examples?
-
Do a Google search for Eye of Horus. I learned that the eyes on the boat came form the Egyptian Eye of Horus and it looks VERY much like you eye, only yours is more stylized.
-
that's very interesting... I do see the similarity. I wonder if the symbol I found is actually that, though...
