Title: The difference between men and womens emotions.
Post by: qazibasit on 23/07/2003 12:43:17
It is observed that girls and women are more emotional than men. They are more attracted towards sex and all that than men.Is their an specific reason for that. They also fell in love immediately.

Found this article awhile back and thought it might give a little insight. Also, it's my take that women are more cerebral and men are more physical. In my opinion, it will never be fair...ever.

Edited of course:

Question 1: What drives the ultimate male fantasy?
Answer 1: A huge desire to meet an endless stream of good looking young women and have sex with them!
Question 2: What can Mother Nature plant in men's minds so that men produce the maximum number of babies?
Answer 2: A huge desire to meet an endless stream of good looking young women and have sex with them!

Question 3: What drives the ultimate female fantasy?
Answer 3: A huge desire to meet a strong, kind and successful man and have an endless stream of his babies
Question 4: What can Mother Nature plant in women's minds so that women produce the maximum number of babies?
Answer 4: A huge desire to meet a strong, kind and successful man and have an endless stream of his babies

"Notice something strange here? Yes, answers 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 are identical. The basic sexual instincts of both men and women are designed to maximise the number of babies. The fundamental difference between men and women is:
A man can have hundreds of babies every year whereas a woman can only have one.
For this reason, men like having sex with new women and women prefer to find one good successful man and stick with him. This applies to 90% of the human race. For this reason, a man having regular sex with a really gorgeous woman would much prefer to have sex with her less good looking friend and will risk his life to do it. That way two women may get pregnant as opposed to one. Obviously, he doesn't want the friend to get pregnant he just has an intense desire to have sex with a new woman! It's Mother Nature ( or God or Evolution - take your pick) that has taken over his mind to do something which his rational mind knows is crazy but his sex drive tells him is a good idea. Look at how Monica and Bill behaved - it's all there staring you in the face. He wanted sex with a new woman, she wanted to marry him and have a baby. Did Bill think it was a good idea to have sex with Monica? Like hell he did - poor lamb just couldn't help himself.
Guys, please do not write and tell me that you have no desire for babies but just like having sex. I am talking about fundamental reasons - not the way you feel. We eat because we feel hungry and enjoy it - not because we are afraid of dying from starvation, but the latter is the fundamental driving force behind eating. Sex is the same - fundamentally it is about babies.
Remember, if babies were born as a result of you sticking your nose up a car's exhaust pipe then your nose would twitch at the sight of a new car arriving in town."

Just a thought.

I don't know that emotional is the right term.  Certainly more intuitive.  Since the beginning of time, women have never been physically stronger than men (OK, with a few exceptions on the wrestling circuit).  So, if you're not stronger, I guess you learn another way to survive, and that is by being cunning.  I don't think that's changed.  Women generally get more out of a conversation than men, because we are listening to intonation, observing facial expressions, watching body language, as well as listening to the words.  That's just a sort of natural, not learned behavior.

I have to disagree on being more attracted to sex.  I think men have a slight edge on that, however, the score might be closer to a tie.

Falling in love immediately?  You must be young and experiencing young women.  Us older gals are much smarter about that.

I think the story of men having an exclusive, innate drive to have sex with numerous women to sire babies is horse sh*t.  Sounds suspiciously like an excuse for a lack of self control...a profound weakness.  Where you have a weakness, you will find someone ready to exploit it.

Unfortunately our societal conditioning encourages men and women to approach a relationship for what they can get out of it; women ride on men's financial coattails, and men ride on women's tails.

Women and men were made differently so that they could work together and compliment one another.  Wolves and geese mate for life.  It's a choice.  Surely humans are evolved enough to accomplish what comes naturally to some animals.

Make it simple...

Its because we have differnt hormones that make us feel differnt things...[:p]

I agree with Donnah. Women are fed up of hearing all that rubbish about men being able to sleep around because it's their 'instinct'. Most men are just lazy and going from one woman to the next is an easy way to avoid actually making a commitment or having to work at a relationship - which would involve being in touch with their emotions and being sensitive to someone elses, hence many men b*gger off after the 'honeymoon period' has ended/can't keep their eyes off anything with a tan and nice t*ts.

Yes guys, I know there are some exceptions among you.

Right...and 'instinctive behaviour' on the part of women such as PMT,  and menopausal symptoms, which like men's behaviour are also hormone driven, are similarly down to a lack of self control and hence why can't women commit themselves more strongly...to behaving normally ?!!!

A minor but important point......

I'd suggest that having PMT - i.e. being irritable, crying over any thing a bit sad and eating chocolate for a few days each month, is significantly more managable and acceptable than being unfaithful to your partner or eyeing up other members of the opposite sex - which OBVIOUSLY causes a lot greater damage and hurt.

I guess if men can't handle this it supports the point I made about men having problems being sensitive to other peoples' emotions. And we do try to carry on as normal when PMT strikes - no one wants their partner to think they're a freak after all. I always let my boyfriend know.

There are of course a few women in this world who actually DO go psychotic and kill people when they have PMT....errr..if you believe their defense lawyers

Exie: you've experienced social conditioning in the direction of making men and women equal.. maybe in the 18th/19th century whatever men were more like Claire and Donnah said.

Am I dead? Am I alive? I'm both!

Well I've only been alive 24 years so I wouldn't know what 18th and 19th century men were like - only modern days ones.

When you get to 24 and have some experience with men's behaviour around women I'll be interested to hear your comments.

Exodus - i know you're not like that. In fact you are my ideal man, so I'm a very lucky girl aren't I! [;)]

I dunno, they're pretty backward in Australia, so I've heard, so that probably explains the reference to 18th and 19th century men...[;)]

Most of us Australian blokes have clawed our way, kicking and screaming, through the 19th and 20th centuries and found that 21st century women are much like their predecessors. Beautiful, intelligent, perseverant, compassionate, generous and loving is how I would describe you all. As with us blokes, there is exceptions.

BTW Donnah, I didn't know geese and wolves mated with each other, for life even.

I can't say that I agree with the generalisation that you posted Robert, that "men like having sex with new women and women prefer to find one good successful man and stick with him". I believe you would find that many women also enjoy the excitement of sex with someone new and different. That feeling is not exclusive to the male brain. It's just that we live in a society filled with double-standards ie. a man with multiple sexual partners is a stud, yet a female would generally be considered a sl*t.

yeah, being an avid watcher of Trisha, i'd say women are just as likely to have an affair as men, remember it takes two to tango.
