Twin Paradox ?

In the twin paradox, there is two twins a relative distance apart, one is moving while one is stationary. Now in thought experiment , what if the twins had a friend ?
This friend influenced both twins timing, but the twins was always synchronous in time because they were closer.
Now in thought let us imagine a scenario, where lets say all 3 people start in the Midlands. Twin one is at rest, twin two travels to Southern England, the friend heads far easterly .
Now I assume the twins are independent of the friend in respect to time , because the friend surely cannot effect the twins with such a distance between them .
So in my opinion, the influence was only ever superficial , on close inspection , there is no entanglement between the twins and the friend.
So how can you have more than subjective speculation on time dilation ?
The twin at rest contracts to zero time dilation , the twin going south , is neg-liable, it is only the long distance travelling particle that has negligible dilation.
