Because, there is a BIG difference between a field, and a wave.  In a field, the electrical component, is linear, but in rotation.  All E fields are in rotation.  All.  The internal capacitor field is in rotation.  When the field is converted into a wave, the electric field remains linear.  E waves do NOT rotate.

In a field, the magnetic component is angular. When this field is converted into a wave, it is converted from an angular motion........into a linear motion.  This is different than the E conversion.  With the E conversion, only the direction of the E field is changed......But the M component, is cut....the poles are divided.......and only ONE M pole is sent with the E component....to make a wave.

Field induction always has 2 M poles.  Wave induction always has 1 M pole induction.

The electrical polarization can be rotated with a physical rotation of one antenna or emitter, or, one can use multiple antenna emitters and electronically rotate the feed phase.

However.....once the wave is emitted, it keeps that angle.  The only change with flight, is density.  There are no changes in the direction of the components of the wave.  Only between the separate wave pulses does the polarization change.

Waves are intermittent, not continuous, they have a 50% duty cycle, they are not continuous alternations........but they cause continuous alternations of the absorber.  The absorber has inertia and reacts to the wave in a continuous manner.  It's like bouncing a ball.  It only takes one direction of input, and then comes back.

The emission is discreet pulses.  Like discreet pushes when bouncing a ball.

How do you explain my experiment showing that a simple combination of a reflector and a linear polarizer can produce elliptically polarized microwave?

We can also produce circularly polarized microwave using two partial linear polarizers.

I’m assuming this is a rhetorical question?  I certainly wouldn’t expect a sensible answer from someone who doesn’t have a clue how this stuff works; I think he just makes it up.

I don't want to be too judgemental. I hope by showing the experiments he can reconsider his own hypotheses to align to the results, as well as other more widely known experimental results. Reasonable persons should not be too hesitant to change their mind in the light of new evidences that they previously unaware of.
