I'm not sure I understand the question. But is what you are driving at is does the brain do something special when it thinks about brains then the answer is no, because the brain doesn't actually know what a brain is.

When I was a young boy brains terrified me although using double think I could eat fried sheep's brains on toast.
This seemed to have sourced from a film I saw (Charlie Chan in Honalulu ) where a "scientist" supposedly had a living human brain in an aquarium tank

That's such a weird question haha but the things MY brain associates with other brains are not good because the first thing that pops into my mind when thinking of brains is the image of brains and as we all know, it's not a pretty sight!

Going off on a tangent my mother used to speak of "collie wobbles" which was the result of collie sheep dogs eating infected brains but it did not deter her from cooking them for we children .
But that was before spongiform encephalopathy was invented
