I tried to keep the title as accurate as possible while converting US to UK English - here's the message we got sent from listener Dave:

I was walking my dog in our horses' pastures, and my dog uncovered a french fry underneath an old pile of horse manure. It got me thinking - which came first? Did a crow bury the fry under a pile of horse poop and forget to come back for it, or did one of the horses intend to poop on top of the french fry?

I don't think a crow would bury a chip somewhere like that - any other perspectives?

The assumption of intention is unwarranted.

However if Dave visits the spiritual home of fish and chips he will soon realise that this was an appropriate fate for the abominable French Fry. Nothing like the real thing. And beer should be brown, flat, and served presque chambre, not like iced fizzy hosspiss.
