Creation and deletion of matter -- don't all many world theories implicitly create all the matter in the multiple worlds?
The non-existence in the original world would be because I would then be in the new world - I wouldn't cease to exist, it would just be that my lifeline would continue to the point I time travelled, and would continue but in the new world.
What I am suggesting is that the past cannot be changed - it would carry on existing in the original world.
The change would create a new future but in a new world. At least this idea gives a mechanism for creating the many worlds some like to contemplate...
