I like Both Tea and Coffee, but drink a lot of herbal decaffeinated teas..
what about you?

My son put together a special blend of coffee from a local coffee roaster. Mainly arabica beans from Ethiopia, blended with Sumatran and Kenyan beans- gives it a mild, non-acid first taste with a robust finish. I get several pounds of beans, freeze what I won't use in the next few days, and freshly grind the beans each morning.
I'm not much on black teas, but really enjoy green tea and especially oolong tea. I get whole tea leaves, simmer in a french press and use left over hot water to heat my cup before pouring the tea.

I have a big bag of Brazilian Arabica coffee beans.. but have never tried to combine them with anything.. I use a hand grinder although we have an electric one.. but the hand grinder I grind once for coarse ground but put it through two more times for a finer grind ..... seems better flavored to me..
I should try the mix sounds yummy!

I drink anything as long as it is warm, wet and sweet. If I had to choose I would have a moccha.

We use a cafetiere with Lavazza espresso and a teaspoon of Whitards vanilla coffee in it - it's strong yet smooth.

Americans do not know how to fix tea. I was taught how by a friend, the son of a British Mining engineer, whom I knew in Houston many years ago. He and his British wife introduced me to tea that was as strong as coffee and easier on the stomach. I have been drinking it ever since. Since Neil sent me a package of "a London Cuppa" I have grown fonder of it than I expected. Perhaps I do not have the discerning English pallet for tea that most of you English have but I find this brand very good. I like it better than Twinnings English Breakfast.
Of course, if I am going to treat myself, I will either make just a cup of Twinnings Earl Grey or Tetley's Vanilla Earl Grey.

Earl Gray with cream and honey.

Is beer not a choice?
Irish Coffee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_coffee) would be a compromise: its got a head like a beer and of course alcohol.

There can be nothing better in the world than a good cup of tea. Soothing yet invigorating.

For me it's a time of day thing. Tea first thing in the morning (1 cup), then coffee (strong long latte) when I get to work (2 cups). Then tea at about 4 (tiffin) then coffee (espresso) after 8 (without an after 8)
-
I could drink any of them any time of the day .. Yummm!
-
Earl Grey Tea for me in the morning or the smokey taste of
Lapsang Souchong as well.
But I like strong espresso coffees or cappucino

JimBob would you like some Earl Grey for Christmas?
Why, Yes!, I would. Thank you!
But dare I make a request? Please leave the earl in one piece. He may start to putrefy if he is dismembered.
And what would you like for Christmas? A Chippendale Dancer? I doubt that he would stay in the box all the way to the UK so we probably would need another idea. Suggestions from you are welcome.
