I find that shampoo works better on my hair when diluted a little; .... I have been pouring a small quantity into a smaller container with some warm water and shaking it to make my dilute solution for years...  When I reach the final quantity the shampoo bottle gets its rinse to empty and clean the bottle. Obviously this obviates  the need to manufacture exotically coated bottles.....
