Title: Error 651
Post by: Daerana on 01/02/2011 07:06:38
Hi all,
I've just recently finished building my computer but now I'm having some frustrating issues when trying to connect to the internet. I'm using wireless ADSL. Each time I try to set up a new network it states that there was an error... error 651. I googled error 651 and the only solutions that I found were to copy the raspppoe file from Vista... which I did and put in the driver folder but it didn't make any difference. I'm running my computer on 64bit Windows 7. Whilst I was waiting for that to arive in the mail I was running it on a 32bit version. In that I had the same error also.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Daerana

Do you have the two wireless ends operative when you try to make a network connection (and any port forwarding required at the telephone adapter wireless end), Have you installed the wireless config driver software first too, and configured the computers' wireless end to the port the antenna sits in?
All this before attempting to make/configure a network connection for internet protocol?
