I can't really say under what particular circumstances, possibly when sunny mostly, but after the small amount of research I've done, it occurs to me I may be seeing some sort of radio or electromagnetic waves. The colours range from large bright blue to most any other colour that cause an aura around clouds. They seem to change all the time and I can only liken it to the northern lights but on a smaller scale. I hope you can shed some 'light' on this please!"

First off, everything that you see is electromagnetic waves since that is what light is.

The colours range from large bright blue to most any other colour that cause an aura around clouds. They seem to change all the time and I can only liken it to the northern lights but on a smaller scale. I hope you can shed some 'light' on this please!

Often time the light is refracted in clouds and the white light will be separated into different colors much like a rainbow.  The colors will usually be around the fringes of the clouds.  Hope that answers your question.

I'm not sure. Is this a new occurrence or something that you always have had, although maybe not thinking of it? There is something called thetrachromacy  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrachromacy and it seems as if some very small percentage of humanity has it.. Then you have the way the brain decode signals, If you would f,ex ingest D-lysergic acid diethylamide, no I'm not telling you to do it, aka 'acid' you might find most everything, flowers and colors, to become subtly altered to you, more vibrant and just different from your normal expectations. The brain learns by genes and so called 'instincts,' combined with trail and error, to filter most everything we experience, What's 'normal' to us is this filtered version of reality. So check your eyes first and maybe try a health check if that doesn't explain it.
