That is rather morbid and sad that you are thinking about that what kind of comments are you wanting to recieve on this subject?

Yes, but the membership has a rather high turn-over rate. For some reason they join and are never seen again.

I would suggest that, generally, men who try to kill themselves are actually more intent on succeeding, hence using a rather immediate and irreversible method, while women are often crying out for help, and so may actually prefer to make it to hospital while still alive?

I would add that men tend to use more violent methods.. (more violent = less likely to survive)

Sadly some people only crying for help try an overdose of paracetamol which kills them slowly but surely. It has to be the worst thing to overdose on. You are less likely to survive than other stuff you find in the bathroom cabinet.

Yes, and to try and combat this (in the UK at least) they've placed restrictions on how many painkillers you can buy at once. No more than 2 packs of the same kind at once. Nothing to stop anyone buying 2 packs from every shop down the high street though!
