Faster Than Light Communication?
Another breathtakingly average idea I had a few decades ago, involved instantaneous communication. I wondered; if electrons and positrons resulting from gamma photon decays could somehow be separated and extracted into magnetic storage (@cryo' temp's, pre-evacuated of anything likely to cause annihilation- with great emphasis regarding the positrons) we'd have the basis for a transceiver combo. It is extremely likely these particle pairs would exhibit entanglement of the quantum variety - therefore, move the confinement devices a few thousand miles apart, or whatever distance you choose fit .... and induce modulation to either electrons or positrons via the containment coils.
If, say the electrons are made to 'dance', then surely the positrons would too (simultaneously, irrespective of distance), and the small counter-affect on their containment windings could feasibly be amplified to reproduce the original signal - the really excellent thing about this combo, is;- not only could you share 'real-time' communication with a friend on the other side of the universe, but your conversation would be pretty damned secure.
Also;- thought this type of rationale could be further employed in the sphere of quantum computing. [

I thought of some of the paired particle theories in the past.
I like your idea of making one do a "dance".
I guess what was never clear is if one could non destructively observe the process. Or, is the act of observing the particles destructive?

I'm pretty sure FTL information transfer has been ruled out for an 'entangled-pair', due to the uncertainty principle.
