DO CALCIUM IN TOOTH PASTE AFFECT OUR TEETH?

Dear friends,
First of all let me tell you that i am not a scientist and out of interest
i use to write various things. This is one of them and it is for discussion purpose only. I request scientists to take up experiments in big way in this angle also.
At present most of us are using calcium based tooth paste.
How far it is safe:
1 Our teeth are not dead ones, they accept food i.e., calcium
from blood.
2 But we are strengthening them by applying outside.
IS IT SAFE:
1 Suppose if you are thirsty, what you will do, drink water or take a bath.
If you sits in water for long time it start eroding/eating upper layer of
your skin
2 Suppose if you are hungry, what you will do, eat food or attach food to
stomach. If you attach food on stomach, it slowly erodes upper layer
and makes a hole into stomach.
Let us start thinking:
I dont think there is any exception to calcium. It is also slowly eroding upper layer of teeth and making a hole.
There is a saying "only diamond can cut another diamond", so also calcium can only make a hole and nothing else.
Friends animals are not having knowledge to strengthen its teeth from outside and they are safe.
Friends, please share your opinions also.
yours
Psreddy
