Ya gotta check em out August Burns Red
if u know anything about music you will understand and appreciate the complexity of their songs
they ARE a metal band but for those of you who dont like this stuff u will be amazed at how fantastic this band really is
you have to really listen to the technical guitar solos the intricate bass and rhythm parts and the flawless drumming and the unbelivably in-tune singing...they are just complete geniuses you will be instantly engaged.
they are a newer band so they dont have many songs to their name but a few i would STRONGLY suggest taking a look at are Composure, Backburner, Black Sheep, and the Eleventh Hour.
you can listen to all these for free with playlist.com no signing up
listen to the entire song before you give up on them there songs have many change ups Backburner alone has like 5 in a 4 min live performance.
give them a chance i swear u wont be disapointed they are christian but they arent like other metal bands they dont really care about doom death killing etc... they are the happy metal band that just has fun with their music

   Glad to see you post!!!

  I will set some time asaside tonight to take  good listen to all of your suggeted titles then...

   I am a non metal fan...but I do have an open mind and am willing to try new music on for size especially when the talent has such rave review as what you give it... thanks!

    I hope things are going well for you and you are well.

yea these guys are so young and so amaingly coordinated with their tehcnicality and wats also crazy they play their songs flawlessly even when they are live

Guitars, drums, bass - really very good.

Personally, although I'm sure he's very adept, the style of vocals ruins it for me.

I like my rock to have a bit more melody, though musically I'm now much mellower that I used to be.

haha no i just worship their music...

yea ben i would have to agree with the vocals they do tend to throw it off but listening to the singer alone makes you realize how melodic he really is singing. his vocals are extremely hard to do for even most monster/scremo singers

in the song "Black Sheep" at about 44 seconds in there is a loud boom that i cant figure out wat it is. im thinking a bass overload or blown bass....any1 got ideas??
