I am having severe problems with bubble fluid, both in a bubble machine and hand held blowers. After a while of usage, the bubbles stop! With the machine, I was making thousands of bubbles.....I left it standing still for an hour (in direct sunlight so not sure if that affected it) and when I turned it on again there was very few bubbles. I have experimented with various different makes of fluid....and the same happens with all of them. I would really appreciate some help on this as I use the bubbles (or try to) as part of my business.

Perhaps the ingredients in bubble mixture are separating after a while and need to be mixed.

Is the mixture drying out a bit? It might be worth adding a little water and seeing if that helps.

thanks for your suggestions.
The fluid isn't drying out......but I will try stirring it after standing and see if that makes any difference.

Is it too warm? When the temperature rises the viscosity drops and this might mean that it's become too low to hold the film together.

I agree with Chris.
You could try making your own solutions. I don't have a recipe to hand but I'm sure you can google it. The best bubbles I have ever seen were at the experimentorium in Denmark. They said their recipe was a secret. Shucks!

Steve Spangler has a secret recipe bubble mix, yours for $12.95 (makes 4 litres) ...
