Title: Would Polar Exchange allow Solar Winds to strip our atmosphere?

Scientists predict a change of poles as is evident a number of times before from crust samples. The poles are decaying and it means earth quakes, volcanic activity and danger from particles in space, such as to sattelites. But during such an event when there is an interim and perhaps when there are numerous poles, might the solar wind and coronal mass ejections blow away some of the atmosphere, giving the Earth a tail like Venus?

Are we losing gas, polar change by polar change?

I'm not aware of polar exchanges causing earthquake or volcanic activity but there would be a temporary increase in danger from radiation in some random areas.  The fact that we still have our atmosphere, after having gone through many previous polar exchanges, suggests that it isn't lost when one occurs.
