Hmm. I will state from my point of view, which is fairly simple…
I have never altered anyone’s posts to change the meaning.
I can only speak to actions I have taken, whether you choose to believe or not is entirely up to you.

It's easier handling trolling
That’s because we’ve been helping you out by sending warnings to the trollers and removing some of their inappropriate posts, some you might not have seen.

You don't want this essay here, it's pretty controversial, am I correct? Then just say it.
That’s a strange statement considering the efforts we’ve made to keep you from being banned, despite your best efforts to the contrary. As long as you respect the spirit of the rules there is no problem.
I don’t see anything controversial here, most is quoted information or opinions of others.
If I had time I would make comments on your views around superposition and decoherence, but I think you’ve found some references that help you see what is really happening - I’ll check.
Anyway, I will look back and see if there are points I can contribute to and keep your thread a discussion as per rules, and I’m sure Alan will do the same.

But Lambda can be copied like we cannot, so if I were to ask it any questions, I'd pose my queries along those lines: What if you were copied?  What if two copies were somehow merged? What if you were 'moved' to new faster hardware? Would the old hardware fear being turned off still?
That’s an interesting one. It echoes the question raised in Star Trek, does a transported person die on disassembly and be reborn at the other end. Certainly cloning to new hardware and then turning off should mean death to the old AI.

Here may be a clearer way to see my issue.  Imagine a very simple universe where there only exists object A and an object B.  They are on a collision course.  Scientist A, (from another dimension) uses object A as a point of reference.  But scientist B (from yet a different dimension than scientist A) uses object B as a reference.  Each scientist is going to end up with a different description of this universe from using special relativity.
So what's your issue?
That each scientist is going to end up with a different description of this universe from using special relativity.
This really doesn’t need scientists from a different universe and it isn’t down to special relativity.
It was Galileo who first pointed out that if you were in a cabin on a ship you would not be able to tell if the ship was moving, or in which direction unless you had information from outside the room. He concluded that it was reasonable to consider two moving ships as one stationary and the other moving or vise versa and the laws of physics remain the same. For example, if a ship is moving and firing a cannon at a stationary ship, the trajectory of the cannon ball relative to the first ship is exactly the same if the first ship is stationary and the second moving. When we consider this scenario in space where there are no fixed references, it becomes more obvious. It is called Galilean Relativity. Einstein added the effects of the constancy of the speed of light and extended Galileo’s principle to Special Relativity.

Bored chemist, much as I hate to do this, you are in error. I have it on good authority that there is only one unicorn. Hence the correct expression is "the unicorn did it". I don't have to remind you of the rigour needed in all such scientific matters, correct units, correct dimensions and of course correct unicorn.
Please state your authority.
I have it on excellent authority, my granddaughter, that multiple unicorns exist, apparently in many colours. However, I will concede that it is possible that only one unicorn was involved in the action (usually the pink one if I recall @Bored chemist correctly), so your expression would remain correct.

I would like to explore with you nothing more than the available evidence, that being the three observable dimensions of space and the three dimensional objects that move in it. Time therefore is just another way of expressing the three spatial dimensions. eg. I am 3 miles from home or I am 3 minute from home.
Ignoring relativity for the moment, 3 miles is a fixed dimension - assuming say shortest distance, but 3 minutes is a variable depending on your speed. How does your model handle that?

I sincerely doubt Collin, Alan, or anyone else, to have read every word of it :) I mean, even I would hesitate at that. But I can't be sure of course.
I doubt it too, but that goes for much of the historical stuff on here.
Moderators try to at least skim most posts, but keeping ahead of the spammers is time consuming so we don’t pick up and respond on all topics.

Discussing whether the Titanic should be addressed as HMS or RMS is outside this essay and totally uninteresting to me. Discussing my syntax and use of 'you' also irrelevant as far as I see it.
Neither of these is outside of what you call the essay. Anything you post here has to be up for discussion otherwise you are just preaching.
Use of English is not irrelevant as it is important for clear communication and understanding.
The use of ‘one’ ‘we’ and ‘you’ in a general sense is often misused, as you have done. Gowers, Partridge and the Cambridge Dictionary have commented on correct usage.
‘You’ in the general sense eg “if it rains you can wear wellies”; “when you are in hospital…”, can refer to anyone rather than a specifically person, but it always includes the reader and can include the writer. There is no way in English that you can exclude the reader and refer only to a third person, this is why such sentences include qualifiers.
If you want to refer to or talk about a wide group of people, such as an authority or an institution the correct usage is ‘they’. You could use ‘you’ if you name and address them directly, eg “United Nations, you need to change your game”; but an isolated post “you need to change your game” is poor English if it doesn’t refer to the reader.
PS this is not a question of syntax.

Quote from: yor_on on 26/06/2022 10:13:59
That Alan chose to make it a personal insult is up to him. And if you do the same, up to you.
poor use of English insults everyone and reduces effective communication, and that’s why Alan is taking you to task.
Scientists have a reputation for poor English and it is our duty to up our game, we won’t get it right all the time, but we should try hard for clarity in communication.

By the way, if you dis’ the Senior Service the accepted remedy is torpedoes at dawn (nuclear tipped of course). However, you could always offer your sincere apologies by sending a bottle of fine rum to the TNS office!

So you want it to be about the steamship Titanic Alan?            Proving?

https://hmstitanic.blogspot.com/2008/10/hms-titannic.html

Sorry, not interested.
That “ Sorry, not interested” sort of sums up this entire “essay”. You are too quick to quote opinions without reading thoroughly and quoting correctly.

It’s not Alan who wants it to be RMS, it is the whole of correct history.

See Wiki:
RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner, operated by the White Star Line, which sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912

If you had taken the trouble to read and correctly quote the blog you would have found further down:
“Construction of RMS Titanic, funded by the American J.P.Morgan and his International Mercantile Marine Co., , began on 31 March 1909.”

“because she carried mail, her name was given the prefix RMS (Royal Mail Steamer) as well as SS (Steam Ship).”

Like Alan and many others, I find your continual accusations of “you” insulting.

I don't want to be alive any more

That seems like something you should be discussing with a professional as soon as possible and not just some online forum where none of us (I think) are medical professionals.

Best Wishes.
There are a number of medical professionals here, but it is impossible (and would be wrong) to try and make a diagnosis without performing a number of tests which can only be done in a clinic.

This forum is clearly not helping the OP, and may be harming his mental state, we can only reiterate the advice given by ES. Seek professional help and keep escalating the problems until you get a diagnosis.

... but all signs seem to point to me being correct.
Actually, non of the signs point to you being correct.

Calendar systems evolved around annual seasons and vary around the world, it’s easy to convert between them and they have no effect on Einstein’s theories.
Here we talk about pseudoscience, which is often the stringing together of scientific sounding words that has no scientific content or meaning. Vortex maths is often referred to as pseudomaths for similar reasons and will be of no use in determining anything scientific.

Overall, you have not given sufficient detail on your calculations for us to make a final judgement, but the above points are a good indicator.

Are you mad? Well, there are many forms of madness. We often get posters who feel they have overturned Einstein’s theory, or quantum mechanics, or who think the earth is flat, or that man has never landed on the moon. I would suggest they are delusional.

Quite interesting, and with a twist.

" A 2007 study found that for every 1C increase in night-time temperature there is a staggering 6% drop in wheat yields – a steeper decline than hotter days. The climate crisis is triggering record-breaking day temperatures, but night temperatures are increasing significantly faster."
Another twist towards the end of the Roman era in Britain:
“ About AD 400, there was a shift to wetter, colder weather in Britain, a deterioration that intensified after AD 450. By the late Roman period, there may have been as much as a 10% increase in rainfall. Together with deforestation and expanded agriculture and grazing, heavier rains would have aggravated soil erosion and flooding. Soil would be leached of its nutrients and fertility; and heaths and bogs would have claimed arable soil and lessened productivity.

Annual average temperature also dropped during this time, perhaps as much as 2.5 degrees F (1.5° C). This would have lowered the elevation at which grains could grow by 650 feet and shortened the growing season by almost one whole month. Colder weather also would have reduced the hay crop and made it more difficult to sustain animals through the winter. Weakened animals, too, would have been more susceptible to disease.

Marginal land for agriculture would have become sub-marginal, and much of the highland zone, with its longer winters, heavier rainfall, and lower average temperature, no longer as productive. Shortfalls in the north, in turn, would likely have increased demand for exportation of grains and increased taxation in the south.”
