Title: Where can I find information about dissimilar anode-electrolyte liquid batteries
Post by: Doug52 on 08/07/2014 19:24:08
Where can I find information about the ‘specific science’ of room temperature liquid electric batteries (similar to the Daniell cell) wherein the anode is of one metal species immersed in an electrolyte (aqueous metal salt for example) of a different metal species? I’m looking for information, books, or websites (or the name of the science) that specifically excludes an anode of one metal species immersed in an electrolyte of a same metal species. So far, my experiments are generating between 200 to 250 millivolts across a 1000 ohm load resistance, but I need more information about ‘dissimilar anode-electrolyte’ room temperature liquid batteries.
Thank you
