Title: What residue do firelighters leave?

I am researching the residue that fire lighters (small inflammable bricks) may leave in ash and charcoal and what effect this may have on vegetables, using these products to promote growth.  The bricks contain 60% paraffin. 20% urea formaldehyde resin,20% water. .5% emulsifier .5% hyrdrochloric acid.
