i was sat quietly today,enjoying a cuppa when BANG! something hit our front door,as i thought,them damn kids with a football,nips outside,nothing,then i notice a perigrin hanging around,as they have done for a few months.
when i went out side later i saw a dead pigeon on my front lawn,no head,mmm strange as i turned to go in i noticed a hole in my nice new upvc garage door,about the size of a pigeons head,in its haste to avoid a perigrin,the stupid bird had flown at full speed into my garage doorblasting a hole in two of the nice boards and costing me a fortune no doubt [:(!]

Bloody Hell !!...well..we have learned a valuable lesson tonight....Pigeons...even at great speed...can not pass through a garage door !!
Ray...is your garage door automatic ?..perhaps the pigeon was desperately pushing the remote and it just failed to open !

no its not an autodoor,and being on a main road it gets very grubby, ( road dust ) and my wife is one of those women that will not allow dust to settle,so she is constantly cleaning the front and garage doors ,(he he )welllll, keeps her fit [:0][B)]

I had a pigeon headbutt my car once. Well, maybe that's not strictly accurate. I was poodling down the road in my little beaver car around dawn (she's a big girl - we use her as a roundabout). Ahead of me in the road was a throng of pigeons. As I neared them, all but 1 flew away. That 1, however, decided to walk straight towards my car. There was a muffled thump & a cloud of feathers appeared in my rear-view mirror. Do pigeons get suicidal?

I am scratching my head to determine what kind of Penguin is this fellow? Or is this a wannabe, meaning someone deguised as a Penguin...hmmm, Michael! Nah, couldn't be you with a cute costume like that on is it? If not, put those booties back! We can't afford a penguin to be without his feet covered! hehe

I thought i would ask the worlds number one expert on penquins. and she my 4 year old niece said it is definatly looks like a penguin to her.

It was like painting by numbers.
I just think its weird how the crack panel resembled the shape of a penquin.
Maybe you need to ask the question if it was possible for it to crack naturally that way or is it a case of inteligent design. Maybe that pigeon was the avian version of god, maybe the crow didnt take it away, maybe the pigeon was resurected.
Or am i just mad

governor pidgeonegger happens to be a good friend of mine so dont mock him, he cant help being a stereotype,all the males on his mothers side were stereotypes,and he is rightly proud of that heritage.
as for the kamikazee bird,he wont be back, his smashed and broken body has helped to raise two lovelly crow chicks,and these have alresdy learned to peck holes in bin bags,just one week out the nest,isnt nature wonderful,hope they dont learn to nick car stereos, [:o)]

Be prepared Ray to have your garage pidgeon patroled...or maybe get some signals to let them know when the best time it is for them to enter?? Just a thought! I still think we should all paint something on your garage door to show we do care...hehe
