ummm...i donno? r u asking a sceintific question or a funny 1? but the most active part of my system is my mouth..alwayz eating(but sadly i have too high of a metabolism... wahhh) and alwayz talking. but the lungs r always constantly moving to moonfire. uless of coures ur dead.. but then again... ur eyes r always seeing too.....ohhhh my head hurts.

must disagree with tony that when one sleeps the mouth goes to partial extinction. if lungs,taking its function to cognisance it continually operates but what aabout the heart that circulates blood if when one sleeps and even during unfavourable conditions it could adjust to sustain its existence

Hummmmm, good question but I want to say no everything goes, but I don't know! The heart pumps the blood through to oxigenate the brain so now I am changing gears and saying that your heart can still pump after the brain shuts down, but only if it has the oxygen to continue to go there but that can't be as if brain shut down wouldn't that be because of no blood pumping through the brain which could be cause for stoppingbrain function!!I have confused myself once again!

OK, what's the answer! I am stumped. BUt must add that brain works and is active always even duing sleep and I thought for a few moments after oxygen deprevation, 4 min or so or am I mistaken? You can go for that long without permanant damage so my guess would still be the brain!!

Ok, now I have another thought, wait no ones running away right. Your heart pumps your blood throughout your body and so when said heart stops so does bloodflow, right! Then from experience rigamortise(SPELLING SORRY) sets in right away. The blood cools and the body becomes stiff. But I think the brain continues to function on some level afterwards as you can have brain damage after like 4 min without oxygen. So I bet it functions longer then that, but thats an uneducated guess as I am just trying to reason what I know with what makes sense, and Thats not very much!![;)][:)]

ariel, i disagree with[V], i would agree only the ground of stating the codition that if the material is not repeateadly used.

Sorry to bring this up again, in my defense im drunk and phylosophical...so applying your rule, we should take into consideration Theta Waves (apparently waves that have been linked to the human soul) found in the brain, that are dorment until sleep and death and continue a good 5mins after flatline. although i aint 100% on this, i firmly believe that the brain not only lives after death, but still performs functions on levels we still dont realise exist...any thoughts on this???

I was once like the cookie monster. Bought a couple packs of cookies as they were on offer. My mates and I were watching a film, and when they turned to get a cookie it was too late I had demolished them within mintues. The horror of the picture was that I had cookie all round my face, crumbs on my top and chocolate covered fingers. Safe to say I'm not allowed to hold onto the cookies, ever!!!!!
That was one of my favourite dreams, the cookies tasted so good. But it also made me realise what the cookie monster goes through and why, if you took his cookies away, you would find him rocking back and forth like a junkie without a monkey.

If you're talking about favourite desserts then mine had to be pie with one of toppings which are, custard, ice cream or clotted cream. Double cream is really nice but I think clotted beats it hands down.
Next you have a gorgeous sherry trifle, I ask for one every year on my Birthday, I love my mummy [:X]
Last but not least crumble. Again with said toppings.

Tony - Thats a good one! There is no extra dollar.
The facts are:
The room was originally 30. The clerk realized he overcharged.
He refunded 5 taking the room to $25.00, leaving a difference of $5.
The dishonest bell hop refunded $3 and kept $2 for a total of $5.00.
The trick to this riddle is that the addition and subtraction are done at the wrong times in order to be confusing.[;)]

It's simple: If the statement was false, than the judge would be forced to send him to prison for 6 years. But that would make it true, turning this into a classic paradox. The Judge, not wanting to be found a liar, set him free to prevent the paradox from occuring.
