It's really bad tonight  !![:(][:(][:(]...the Blood Pressure tabs she's on is METHYLDOPA 2 X 500mg a day.

Hang on, wifey wants to say something....."Ouuuuuucccchhh !!!"

Sheesh, even my crappy sense of humour doesn't make her feel any better.....

Hi Neil,

Sorry to hear that your wife is having a hard time. I remember the days of having little ones. It is a tremendous amount of work for everyone esp. the mamas.
We control my hubby's high blood pressure with Glyconutrient supplements and celery seed caps. If he is a bad boy and goes off his supplements, his blood pressure goes right up again. As long as he is consistent, it stays at normal range. As you are probably aware, you will not get instant results from natural supplements as it usually takes a while to kick in.
I hope this helps. Cathy

PS. It seems for me that if I do stretching exercise it helps back, neck, pain. The cat stretching is great for backs. It is the last thing that one feels like doing, however it does help the pain. One must go at it in a gentle way esp. when in pain and not overdo at first. Check this out http://www.thehealthpages.com/articles/ar-bckpn.html

His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in my weakness

Hi Cathy, thank you very much indeed for your words of encouragement and the very helpful advice and link.

Julia is having a really rough time (as she did with all her pregnancies) but we all know it will be worth it in the end.

Thanks again, it's appreciated.

Neil

Mummy, Daddy, cook and cleaner?  You poor thing.  Gee, at least your wife only has to be three of the four when she's not crippled by pain and pregnancy, hehe.
A friend of mine had serious problems with the same.  She used one of those excercise balls to lean over while on her knees.  Incredibly undignified, but who cares when you're being beaten to a pulp from the inside?
Then there is the whole massage thing, but no doubt you are profficient in that by now.
Paracetamol is fine so long as it doesn't interfere with the current tabs.  Obviously stay away from anything asperin based though.

Good luck to you all.

P.S.  The excersise ball is reputed to be a bloody marvelous thing in the case of a "back labour".
