Title: What would be structure of space and time in LHC during collision ?
Post by: ScientificBoysClub on 09/09/2009 16:18:58
What  would be structure of space and time in LHC during collision ?
What went wrong with LHC ?
What were the results ?

Well, when they r traveling with nearly C. it should effect space and time inside LHC ...
is it possible to see or study Space inside LHC ?

I want to know the Nature of Space Time ....

Your wording suggests that you think that the LHC affects space asnd time itself.  this is not true however particles travelling very fast are subject to lorenz contraction in their length.  this would make a spherical object look k]like a disc travelling along its axis.  the particles themselves experience time dilation in that they can travell further before they decay than their normal lifetimes extended bty the velocity of light.

I mean why not ?
When Gravitons are produced ?????
they cause gravity !!
and some talk about Black holes in LHC too . you know that block holes distort space and time even though it is mini black hole.
LOL you are surfing on souls .. Soul Surfer.

The structure of space-time is open to question, although Black-Holes may possibly represent a restructuring of space-time.

What we can say though, is that the space-time that the accelerated protons 'see' will be a different 'shape' to what we see, even though we're both looking at the same thing.  However, because the protons cannot be accelerated to 'c', as they have non-zero mass, it will only be the shape of space-time that changes, not its structure.

Gravitons are the hypothetical agents that transmit the force of gravity not its source that is mass or its twin energy.
They would be extremely light 10^-11 has been suggested compared with Neutrinos which have little mass.
There is no hope of detecting individual gravitons either theoretical or practical.
