The article concerns the arcane of life and distribution of wild animals from the Daba Hills and practical information about the unknown fauna from the Middle Kingdom. This is a feature of research priorities, taking into account of European scientific practices. Of course, the fauna and flora of mountains of the central Mandarin State requires in-depth study, but let's also pay attention to the wild species from the east. In the past, adventurers or scientists who have been involved for wildlife ecology and conservation sought to tame in scientific study unknown carnivorous mammals, ruminants, lagomorphs, amphibians and reptiles. The great zoological discoveries have not yet passed away.
Records of rare species and populations are one of the key projects on the desk. A scenario for a small project, e.g. in Hupeh, located especially on Shennongjia or the Mufu Range would be dedicated to long-term fluctuations of populations of Canidae forms or reptiles, would be an further inspiration as well, and the MSc project, that would be conducted by zoologist from the old continent is an interesting contribution to pioneering research of natural resources.
We thus summarize the knowledge and practice onto unknown large quadrupeds, birds, etc. I illustrate adventure-fiction stories, research techniques and literature sources for further inspirations. There are field studies, whether in Shensi or in the lands of the Hakka people that dertermine further something. Today's science is achieving a lot in terms of efficient research into ecology and zoological discoveries. A valuable would be a record of the presence of a population of a species from the group of native mammals such as a wild dog, forest martens, bears, Melogale sp. or other predators. There are also needed pioneer records for rare rodents or deer, monkeys, but also amphibious and flying forms, and even invertebrates and mushrooms, whether even plants would be a valuable introduction to natural history.
From the Sichuan Basin or the anciently presented mountains of Yunnan, through the loess landscape to the former Pet-chely in the China Plains, there are reports of vertebrate fauna that interest ourselves. From the lands of the Yangtze Valley, wild Xinjiang or the Kwantung's coast in the south of the country, exhibits of rare animals or artifacts come from, but there is also interdisciplinary research. Even new developments by a zoological or natural science's guild within a science group from Western or Central Europe is a pioneer initiative carried out in a remote scientific base, somewhere in the Mandarin fringes of the country in Fujian lands, and even in Indochina.
Contemporary zoological exploration is discovery of species and populations and other research associate animal monitoring techniques, in labs and offices, with measurements and non-invasive works. It is notabene, activity with observation in wild landscapes, wild animal markets, museums, etc. I also refer in study to the heritage of culture and those of inventions, sustainable work in natural resource management, agriculture, field job in ethnography and mineralogical branch. It is necessary to make a difference and build potentials for a better tomorrow in life sciences. Scientific work will be developed in the future.
