In quarantine I had more than plenty of time to start learning about new things and I even started to get back to my music... Me and my partner adopted a furry friend (dog) and she's just the perfect match to our little family. Here Spam removed I have found a lot of knowledge and reviews about dogs and for example what bed they like. She is our first dog

Such statements bother us because we project our feelings onto what is said and impute an opinion to it. If we think that someone who calls me a dog means it rather negatively, this statement also comes across negatively to us.
Mostly we include too much of our doubts and feelings in such situations.
