Title: How can I select the language for a download program?

Because I live in Germany, many of the programs I download are automatically received in German. For example, I just downloaded Gimp, and without prompting, the entire GUI was installed in German. How can I get it in English?

OK - I've got it in English, so thanks AC/DC playing matey-boy-young-feller-me-lad.

What I had to do was to ask for a custom set-up and remove the check from the translation file box which seemingly automatically imports a German convertor.
