Would U rather have a full head-on or a single side one, only, collision?

definitely front on. The neck muscles are stronger at resisting forward motion of the head, side of neck muscles far less so and so side whiplash results in a broken neck - thats why a noose knot is put at the side.
Also, side air bags are less effective at the moment.

It isn't that simple.
What if the single side collision just meant we both lost a wing mirror?
Or we just ripped the bodywork in a glancing blow or .... whatever.

A safe way to drive is to scan the sides of the road 80% and the centre 20% this way you will have a better chance of finding with confidence a safer run off aria if needed. I live in the country and when driving I am constantly looking for a level run off as if needed I will go for the fence and the field. PS trees and power poles are not our friends. As for the question a full head on will give a better chance of survival. One more PS. It hurts less if you're killed.

I only walk to the fridge to get a beer 24 bottles x 14 metres = 336 metres a day. My wife said that not enough exercise so I said get me two cartons of beer then. 336 x2 = 672 metres I worked it out if the distance gets too much for me I will just have to move the fridge closer to the living room. The other upside is I get the drink not the car and you cant get booked for drink walking.

Now called overlap test, two types small and moderate overlap. Less protection in the wings.
I was actually meaning full side on, getting T’d. Not only side whiplash but head hitting side, more intrusion into vehicle etc.
I did read once that you are better to try for a grazing contact (don’t try this at home kids) but I’m not sure many untrained people are able to steer and brake with such accuracy with such little notice.  Also steering while braking means greater braking distance, chance of car slewing, rolling etc. Not something I hope to try.

That's a bit looney that question, not since South Park and the crippled question.
A head on tends to destroy the face and shear of legs below the knees, whereas a partial off set tends to plain snap the spine and shatter the temple.
