What is the safest way to ingest medicinal cannabis?
« on: 15/10/2022 22:53:19 »
Weed needs to be legal world-wide for medical use. but i have a profound belief that the world needs to take gabapentin as a prophylatic for nerve damage from viral infection. i know covid has slowed my mental agility and resulted in gbs disease. but i also believe it would have been far worse without gabapentin. the only way to tolerate the pain and enjoy life for me is to use cannabis, but i hate smoking. ingesting it works but not as well. any thoughts?

It's 40 years since I have had any cannabis and while I did enjoy it, it's illegality was not compatible with settling down to a conventional life once I had found my soulmate( boss ). As such I am totally out of the loop. Smoking any material is bad and maybe you could try a vapouriser, although I know nothing about such technology. I do believe cannabis is way, way less destructive than alcohol but if one overdoes anything there will be price to pay. Gabapentin is a useful drug for several conditions, however it can produce a physical and psychological addiction that can be quite severe. Many infections and vaccinations can cause gbs but overall it is quite rare: one of the most common culprits is the gastroenteritis producing bug campylobacter jejuni.

Nobody competent to give medical advice would do so over the net like this.
So, the only credible advice you will get here is "go and see a doctor"

BC, despite what I said above I wholeheartedly agree with this advice.
