Physiology & Medicine / Can this red/blue light damage eyes if eyelids are closed?
« on: 18/02/2018 23:05:26 »
Hello, I bought red/blue/infrared acne lamp from <<<COMMERCIAL NAME REMOVED>>> for acne which works quite well and I'd like to use it without goggles because I've read red light can help with dry eyes perhaps by reducing inflammation. The manual calls the goggles "comfort goggles," so I don't think they're required for safety but I'm not sure. If my eyelids are closed can any damage be caused to my eyes by red or blue or infrared light? I use it for about 15-20 minutes per day.
Thanks so much for any info!
